ISLAMABAD - Awami National Party (ANP) Thursday submitted an adjournment motion in the Senate Secretariat against the decision of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) regarding weekly revision in the prices of petroleum products.
The motion says that government has already increased the POL prices last month and further increase in the prices of petroleum products would be injustice with the already price-hike stricken masses.
ANP senators in the motion said that the government has already increased prices of petroleum products at several times during the recent year and the weekly review would add difficulties to the masses that were already hit by high inflation.
