Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong has called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interests and defence cooperation, progress on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and the regional security situation were discussed during the meeting.

DG ISI Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed was also present in the meeting.

Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong lauded Pakistan's serious efforts for peace and expressed his determination to continue the strategic partnership with Pakistan.
