Shehbaz advises Zardari to ‘refrain’ from anti-Nawaz remarks

LAHORE   -  PML-N president and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Mian Shehbaz Sharif Thursday took exception to the PPP-P leader Asif Ali Zardari’s recent statement against party Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif and termed it unfortunate.

“We should refrain from such remarks and work for the greater good of country”, he observed in his tweet.  The PML-N president further stated that Mian Nawaz Sharif’s unwavering commitment to Pakistan had always been unquestionable. He said that Asif Ali Zardari knew full well about the circumstances in which Nawaz Sharif had to leave the country.

“Zardari Sahib’s statement about Mian Nawaz Sharif is unfortunate. Mian Sahib’s unwavering commitment to Pakistan has always been unquestionable. Zardari sb. knows the conditions in which MNS had to go abroad. We should refrain from such remarks & work for greater good of the country”, he wrote on the twitter.

In his address to the party workers at Bilawal House on last Monday, Asif Ali Zardari had questioned the patriotism of Mian Nawaz Sharif while also accusing him of altering the electoral constituencies in Punjab to his party’s advantage as a means of pre-poll rigging.
