Dr Shireen Mazari tests positive for COVID-19

Human Rights Minister Dr. Shireen Mazari was tested positive for the novel COVID-19 on Monday.

Following the prescription from doctors, Human Rights Minister has isolated herself and has gone under quarantine.

President Dr. Arif Alvi had also tested positive for the COVID-19 for the second time on January 6.

On the other hand, Pakistan has reported 3 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,305,707. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 28,972 on Monday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 1,649 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
