LAHORE (APP) - A man was allegedly tortured to death and another critically injured by the family of Chaudhry Akhtar Verio in Sahuwali Chamranga village. According to reliable sources, family members of Chaudhry Akhtar Verio accused the Dindar family members of theft and called them at their outhouse in Sahuwali Chamranga village. The unarmed members of the Dindar family tried their utmost to convince them of their innocence but the members of the Verio family, in a fit of rage, allegedly tortured and gave electric shocks to the helpless members of the Dindar family. Resultantly, Mubashir died on the spot while Rizwan received critical injuries. Police are reluctant to register a case against the Akhtar Verio family. Local people have condemned the incident and appealed to the high officials to provide justice to the victims.
