Police arrest 6 outlaws in Islamabad

Islamabad-Police have arrested six outlaws and recovered mobile phone, narcotics and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said on Wednesday. 
Following directions of SSP (Operations) Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanweer, crackdown against criminals is continued.
Following these directions, Kohsar police arrested accused Zarif Khan and recovered 380 gram hashish from him.
Shahzad Town police arrested accused Sheriz Hussain and recovered 163 gram hashish from him.  Shalimar police arrested accused Muhammad Saleem and recovered two stolen mobile phones from him.
Tarnol police arrested accused Rizwan and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him.  
Karachi Company police arrested accused Shakeel and recovered 220 gram hashish from him. Bhara Kahu police arrested Arshad messiah and recovered 30 litres alcohol from him.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. 
DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmad Kausar and SSP (Operations) and Dr Syed Mustafa Tanweer have appreciated police performance. They also sought cooperation of citizens for effective policing measures in the city.
HIU of Ramna police arrests 3 
suspected killers
The Homicide Investigation Unit (HIU) of Ramana police has arrested a person, his son and a nephew in connection with a murder case, informed a police spokesman on Wednesday.
The police arrested Muhammad Ali alias Shaheen Shah, Aftab Khan, and Sher Ali in connection with the murder of Muhammad Basheer due to an old enmity in the area of G-12 in December 2020. The police also recovered the weapon used in the crime. 
According to the details, on December 23, 2020 the accused allegedly shot dead Muhammad Basheer near Srinagar Highway in sector G-12, opposite to Customs Warehouse due to old enmity. The police lodged a case on the complaint of Zubair Khan, son of Sher Muhammad, resident of Tehsil Dasu, district Kohistan under section 302, 109, 34 of the PPC. SSP (Saddar) Farooq Amjad Buttar took notice of the incident and directed SDPO Ramna and in-charge Homicide Unit to arrest the culprits. 
A police team was constituted under supervision of DSP Shalimar Khalid Mahmood Awan which also included SHO Ramna Akhtar Zaman, Sub-Inspector Asif Khan, ASI Qamar Ejaz and others who investigated the case on scientific lines and arrested the culprits.
According to the police, one of the culprits, Aftab Khan was absconder in two murder cases registered at Karang police station in district Kohistan for the last 22 years. He also got his name successfully changed on the Identity Card. Further investigation is underway. 
DIG (Operations) Afzaal Ahmed Kousar has appreciated the police performance and announced commendation certificates and cash prize for the police team.
Meanwhile, Koral police found a dead body packed in a sack from a Dam at Old Kirpa Road. The body was moved to PIMS for autopsy. So far, the investigators could not identify the body, sources said.
