The Lahore High Court granted bail to Moonis Elahi, son of former Chief Minister Punjab Ch. Pervez Elahi, in the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) case. Moonis Elahi appeared before the LHC after his arrest warrant was reissued in the NICL scam case. He told the court that he had no link with the NICL scam and he was being victimised on political basis.
