RAWALPINDI – The City traffic police have registered nearly 66,668 challans against traffic laws violators during the last month (February). Traffic police have also arrested several drivers involved in traffic rules violations, including incomplete documents, using tinted glasses and non-displaying number plates.
The police also impounded a total of 1799 vehicles and imposed Rs 10.39 millions fine on the violators. Meanwhile, around 6186 challan tickets were also issued against wrong parking. The city traffic police also finned under age drivers, particularly in the cases of overspending, racing and one-wheeling.
