LAHORE – Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hasan and Secretary General Liaquat Baloch have expressed sorrow over the killing of innocent people in a recent drone strike in South Waziristan.  In a joint statement issued here on Friday, they severely criticised the government and the security forces, saying that both the institutions were playing the role of silent spectators on drone attacks. They said that government did practically nothing to prevent the drone strikes in Pakistani territory. Despite having drone preying capabilities, the security forces have also turned their eyes blind on the issue, they added.
