LAHORE (PR)  - Rap singer Umair Tariq Omi through his songs wants to create awareness among people about social issues in the country.
His song Roti Kapra Makan is first of its kind. It instead of describing traditional topic of love highlights social and national problems in the country. The song due to its quality of describing poverty, unemployment, politicians inability to solve people’s problems their betrayals and national loss as a result of war on terror is getting popular on all well known music TV channels and internet. Singer Umair Tariq Omi has himself written this song.
 He claims to be the first political rap singer of Pakistan.
