orakzai agency/peshawer (staff reporter) - Peace body chief Malak Waris Khan was killed when an armed militant attacked him in Feroz Khail area of Orakzai Agency on Friday.  Sources said the incident took place in Jalak Mela Bazaar of Feroz Khail area when an armed man fired shots at Amn Committee chief Khan, killing him on the spot.
 The attacker blew up himself when other peace militiamen attempted to catch him.
Assistant Political Agent Fazl Qadir said Khan was targeted as he was a pro-peace leader. Meanwhile, the forces continued operation in Dabori area and killed a key militant commander, Gul Wali Khan.  The troops seized suicide jackets, explosives and other weapons.
