LAHORE – The annual sports gala of Lahore Garrison University was held on Friday here at the university ground.
Lahore Garrison University Vice Chancellor Dr Jamil Anwar along with guest of honour Lt Gen (r) Arshad Mehmood inaugurated the event which was participated by a great number of students, faculty members and staff.
The teachers’ race was won by Prof Rashid while Abid Bashir won second and Prof Rizwan third. In chati race, Irum Shahzadi secured first position while Istawana was second and Iqra third. The 100 metre race was won by Riaz, second by Abdul Basit and third by M Shahzad. Raheela Naveed won the musical chair event while Mehmood and Ali Raza remained on top on three-leg race.
At the end, chief guest Prof Dr Jamil Anwar distrusted prizes among the winners.
