A child was killed and three people were injured on Sunday as a blast took place in Khyber Agency’s Landikotal area, security officials said.
According to the security officials, the bomb was detonated with a time device near a mosque in Khoga Khel area of Landikotal and killed one child playing in the street. Soon after the explosion, security forces and rescue teams rushed to the site.
As a result, they said, a child was killed while three other people sustained injuries, which created panic among the locals.
No group claimed responsibility of the explosion.
