4 teams arrive for women soccer event

ISLAMABAD - National Women Football teams of Nepal, Maldives, Afghanistan and Bhutan have reached Islamabad on Sunday to participate in the Third South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Women Soccer Championship 2014, which starts from tomorrow (Tuesday) at Jinnah Stadium, Pakistan Sports Complex. Irfan Ullah Niazi, PFF director youth affairs and tournament media director said they were taking good care of all the visiting teams. Niazi was confident that visas and NOCs to remaining teams will be issued today (Monday) and all teams will reach Islamabad before the start of the event, except India, who had requested to delay their fixtures as late as possible. Bangladesh and Sri Lankan teams are expected to arrive late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
