In Gilgit, three policemen have been martyred and two others injured in Kargah Nallah in a terrorists attack at a police check post at Majenay.

One terrorist was killed and another injured in retaliatory firing, according to police source.

The injured policemen have been shifted to DHQ Hospital Gilgit for medical treatment.

A number of terrorism incidents have been reported from Gilgit Baltistan region lately.

Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Dr. Hassan Askari has strongly condemned the attack on a police check post in Kargah Nala area of Gilgit. In a statement, he expressed profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of police personnel.
