Out-Class Punjab Junior Tennis inaugurated

LAHORE-The Out-Class Punjab Junior Tennis Championship 2021 got underway here on Wednesday and a number of matches were played on the opening day at the PLTA tennis courts. 
Out-Class CEO & Co-Founder Aiman Bashir and PLTA Secretary Rashid Malik (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz) inaugurated the event. The highlight of the opening day was an epic U-14 second round match between promising Aized Sunbal (Aitchison College) and spirited Zohaib Afzal Malik, which was won by the former after a tough fight. Aized was 0-4 down but he made a good comeback and first leveled the score at 4-all and then both held on to their serves to make it 6-all. The match was then decided on a tie-break, where Aized prevailed and won by 7-4. Another enthralling match of the day was played between Haniya Minhas and Sheharyar Anees, which Haniya won 8-6 in the tiebreak. 
Earlier in the U-14 first round matches, Omer Jawad beat Abdul Ahad 6-0, Ameer Mazari beat Mubeen Akram 6-0, Mustafa Mehdi beat Talha Tarar 6-3, Abdur Rehman beat Harris Bajwa 6-0, Haroon Arshad beat Abu Bakar Khalil 7-6, Aized Khalil beat Aalay Hussain 6-2, Zohaib Afzal Malik beat Xeerak Mustafa 6-0, Shehryar Anees beat Ismail Ahmad 6-2 and Abdullah Pirzada beat Labika Durab 6-3.
