Bahawalpur - RPO Sher Akbar held a monthly crime meeting with DPOs and SDPOs of Bahawalpur district and conducted a comparative review of monthly crimes. 

He issued instructions to the district police officials to improve their performance. According to details, RPO sher Akbar held a crime meeting with DPO Bahawalpur Muhammad Faisal Kamran and SDPOs of this district in RPO office conference room regarding review of crime.  Investigative simulations were discussed in detail. 

The RPO directed the SDPOs to play their positive role in streamlining the cases under investigation. 

“Investigating officers should be posted in police stations. Investigating officers should give priority to justice and merit in dismissing cases.  Use your professional skills to complete the investigation on modern lines to help eliminate crime. Traditional tactics and tussle will not be tolerated.  Improve the police patrolling system. Check the motorcycle and mobile patrols through trackers during bank hours and keep them alert.  Criminals and record holders should be investigated.” RPO Sher Akbar further said that the newly introduced e-police post app by IG Punjab Police could bring significant benefits. 

E-police app system at all external and internal routes to catch anti-social elements, notorious criminals and terrorists.  Every citizen who comes to the hotel and the rest house should be entered on the smart eye so that the movement of criminal elements can be detected and they can be arrested with the help of this application, he said.
