SWAT - Seven persons were killed and 25 critically injured during exchange of fire between two groups of Kalam and Utror in a land dispute.

Eight injured were rushed to Saidu Sharif Hospital in critical condition. According to details, both groups clashed on the land of Kanai Banda. Exchange of fire between the rival groups continued for five hours and due to the tense situation tourists were stranded in the upper areas of Kalam.

Police have detained dozens of people from both Utror and Kalam areas. 

According to police, heavy contingent of Pakistan Army, FC and police reached the area and cordoned off it. Negotiations were underway between the two sides in the presence of Pakistan Army, Police and FC till filing of this report.
