MICHIGAN, US: Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed that he is still hoping to make Top Gun 2 with Tom Cruise. The producer revealed at this weekend’s Produced By Conference that he was still keen for Cruise to be involved in the follow-up to the 1986 movie. He is quoted by Deadline as saying: ‘For 30 years we’ve been trying to make a sequel and we’re not going to stop. ‘We still want to do it with Tom and Paramount are still interested in making it.’ Bruckheimer added that Cruise was still enthusiastic about the project.–MT
