‘Them’ trailer reveals terror within

ISLAMABAD-A young Black family’s move from North Carolina to an all-white neighborhood of Los Angeles puts their bond to the test in the first trailer for Amazon Studios’ Them. The show was first announced back in July 2018, when Amazon Studios picked up two seasons of this anthology series from new creator Little Marvin. The first season of the anthology series, entitled Them: Covenant, is set in Los Angeles in 1953, when a family moves as part of a time known as The Great Migration, when the city of Compton was a predominantly white neighborhood. The trailer follows a car with a trailer attached to it, with the Emory family driving to their new home. The family is comprised of parents Henry Emory (Ashley Thomas) and Lucky Emory (Deborah Ayorinde) and their daughters Ruby (Shahadi Wright Joseph) and Gracie (Melody Hurd). After getting settled in, they’re all seen in bed together reading a bedtime story, before interacting with neighbors like George Bell (Ryan Kwanten) and Betty Wendell (Allison Pill). The Emory family seems quite happy, dancing together in their living room, while Henry and Lucky also have a newborn seen in bed with them.
