ATTOCK - As many as 300,000 children, up to the age of five years, will be administered anti-polio drops across Attock district during a five-day campaign being launched from June 7. “The five-day anti-polio vaccination drive should be conducted under strict preventive measures for Covid-19,” said Attock Deputy Commissioner Ali Anan Qamar. During a meeting here, he also urged the officials concerned to adopt a ‘no touch’ vaccination method and maintain distance while vaccinating children. He said that the Health Department teams must ensure vaccination of all children under the age of five, adding that parents must cooperate with the teams to make the campaign a success. The health officials informed the deputy commissioner that as many as 1,100 teams had been constituted, and they would be present at all entry and exit points of the city, bus stands, railway stations, hospitals and health centers. They further revealed that 100 fixed teams and 35 transit teams had been constituted.
