Attempts to bring back Musharraf in politics will fail: Rafique

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Saad Rafique said attempts to bring former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf into politics, will fail badly.

In a series of tweets, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Saad Rafique said that the hobby of forming and breaking political parties should come to an end.

Saad further said that the engineered merger of PSP and MQM-P did not last for 24 hours. The decision of national politics would be made in streets and bazaars.

Regarding court cases he said the efforts to trap PML-N leadership through cases would also fail. It was absolute injustice to revive Hudaibia case. At the moment PML-N is showing patience in the interest of democracy and the country even though it is being cornered.

Former president Pervez Musharraf had earlier said, if elections do not solve the issues Pakistan is facing, then other measures need to be taken to bring the country 'on track'. The army and Supreme Court should only be concerned about Pakistan.
