Sunan Qureshi anointed JSQM chief

KARACHI – Sunan Qureshi, 18, younger son of late Bashir Khan Qureshi, had been elected unopposed as chief of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mohaz (JSQM) on Monday. The election for officer bearers of central body of JSQM held at Sun, ancestral village of founder of Jeay Sindh Tehreek, late GM Syed, in which son of Bashir Khan Qureshi had been elected unopposed as the chief of JSQM. The vice chairman Dr Niaz Kalani and other leaders did not file the nomination papers to contest the election against the son of Bashir Khan Qureshi.According the reports, Akash Mallah and Asif Baladi were elected unopposed as vice chairman and general secretary respectively.  In the political circle of Sindh, the electing of the younger son of late Bashir Khan Qureshi was not taken in good words as they believe that the following the precedent of hierarchy politics was not in favour for Sindh’s politics.
