Good Governance Cell established in Attock to serve people:  Commissioner Pindi

Attock-Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Syed Gulzar Hussain Shah has said that government wants to serve the people in letter and spirit and for the purpose Good Governance Cell (GGC) has been established in Attock district. He said this during his visit to Attock to analyse the performance of GGC. On the occasion, DC Attock Imran Hamid Sheikh and other officers were also present. Commissioner said that government was spending billions on different development projects and their timely completion ensuring good quality of work could only be ensured when there will be good governance. He emphasised upon the officers to complete their tasks timely to ensure relief to the people. Earlier, DC Attock Imran Hamid Sheikh briefed the Commissioner about the performance of the GGC. He apprised the Commissioner that through this cell, the performance of all departments was monitored on daily basis and all officers were performing their duties religiously. He said that for the first time, GGC has been established in Attock and its results are fruitful. Meanwhile, DPO Attock Rana Shoaib Ahmad held an open court in Pindi Gheb. The purpose was to listen to the problems and complaints regarding police department.  DPO assured the people that their problems will be solved on priority.  He said that such open courts will be held on weekly basis in all tehsils of the district.
