CM aide for resolving water shortage in Thatta

THATTA  -  To resolve the issue of severe shortage of electricity and drinking water in Thatta and Mukli, an important meeting was held at Darbar Hall Mukli under the chairmanship of Special Assistant to Sindh Chief Minister on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sindh Sadiq Ali Memon.


The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, officers of HESCO, Irrigation, Public Health, Municipal and all other relevant departments. The meeting directed the concerned officers to ensure the supply of drinking water including elimination of unannounced load shedding during Iftar, Sehri and Taraweeh and issuance of a new load-shedding schedule.


SACM on DEPD Sadiq Ali Memon directed the officers of HESCO to provide maximum relief to their consumers during the holy month of Ramazan so that the fasting people can have ease and the concerned authorities should ensure supply of pure clean water to the people of Thatta.


 He said that unwarranted interruption in water and electricity supply would not be tolerated in hot weather. Sindh government is working at every level to solve the problems of the people.
