A 21-year-old second lieutenant and a Sepoy martyred in a gun attack in North Waziristan, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated.
According to a press release by ISPR, Lieutenant Abdul Moid and Sepoy Basharat embraced martyrdom when terrorists fired on a military vehicle from surrounding mountains.
Lieutenant Moid recently passed out from Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) and was from Burewala, Vehari, media wing of military said.
While 21-year-old Sepoy Basharat had three-year service experience and belonged to village Danyor in Gilgit.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed his grief over martyrdom of two soldiers.
The Army Chief stated that freedom is not free because it costs sons of the soil.

The National Assembly offered Fateha for martyred Second Lieutenant Abdul Moeed and Sepoy Basharat.
