Former railways minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML_N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique, who had been taken into custody on Tuesday in the Paragon Housing Scheme case, bemoaned the condition of his custody cell on Wednesday.
Complaining about the behaviour of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officers, the former railway minister said that they turned their back on the food that was sent to him by his family.
He further said that the washroom of the cell was in a very poor condition as it did not have even a locker on the door. Speaking informally with the lawyers in the court, Saad Rafique said that they (the government) were tracking him with thousands of police and ranger officers as if he was a terrorist.
“I am not a terrorist,” he lambasted. Terming his treat as discriminative behaviour, the PML-N leader further said that his party’s activists were also not allowed into the court on Wednesday.
