LAHORE - Civil Service Academy (CSA) Alumni defeated Gujrat Bar Association (GBA) by 42 runs in a friendly fixture played here at the Railways Stadium on Sunday.

CSA Alumni captain Hamdan won the toss and opted to bat. They posted 207/7 on the board in allotted 30 overs. Captain Zahid played a brilliant knock of 72 runs under tough batting conditions. In reply, Gujrat Bar Association, who are all Pakistan Bars' champions, lost their 5 wickets for 47, however, they recovered but again fell short of 42 runs. Asim and captain Zahid got three wickets each. Captain Zahid, 35th CTP, was declared man of the match for his wonderful batting and bowling performance.
