QUETTA - Three-day religious congregation (commonly known as Tablighi Ijtema) ended peacefully with special prayers for safety of Islam and Pakistan on Sunday in Balochistan’s historical district of Sibi.
The speakers delivering speeches during the gathering said that all their worries were because of their deeds and if faithful turned to Allah Almighty their problems would be resolved.
Tight security measures were undertaken for the safety of religious gathering in Sibi where Frontier Corps (FC), police and Levies forces personnel were deployed.
The speakers asked the people to follow teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and live the life as Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had lived. They noted that it was obligatory upon all of the Muslims to preach Islam and fulfil their responsibilities in the way of Allah Almighty.
Before the end of ijtema, Qari Maulana Habib Rehman led the collective prayer where tens of thousands of faithful were present in the arena set up for the three-day congregation.
The prayer focused on invoking God’s help for resolving challenges of the Muslim Ummah and for the unity of Muslims all over the world.
Special prayers were also offered for the stability and prosperity of the country.
The speakers also made special prayers for freedom of Kashmir and Palestine.
