A meeting pertaining to Afghan peace process took place between British High Commissioner Christian Turner and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Friday.

As per the sources shared by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the subjects including mutual interest, regional security and the Afghan peace process remained focus of the discussion between the representatives. 

The COAS expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom (UK) for helping out Pakistan in fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
