APCNGA decides to call off strike

KARACHI - Karachi Transport Ittehad (KTI) and All Pakistan Compressed Natural Gas Association (APCNGA) have decided to call off strike as the federal government assured them of addressing their demands, Chairman APCNGA said.
On Saturday morning, citizens faced immense difficulties when they could not find transport to commute to work as the transporters were observing strike against the prolonged closure of gas. Bus stops were crammed as people waited for hours for public transport. Long queues of vehicles were also witnessed at CNG filling stations as only few stations were supplying gas.Meanwhile, SSGC spokesman said that gas supply to CNG stations would continue in respect of 12th Rabi ul Awal.
