It has been commonly observed that the police officers are not reimbursed for the expenses which are incurred by them on an investigation assignment. This affects the progress in cases which delays the justice, where the victim is the one who suffers. The administration should arrange for a proper procedure, where the police officers should be reimbursed of any investigation expenses. This would also improve the performance of the police, where the burden of expenses will not lie on individual police staff and speedy progress on cases can be achieved.
