HAFIZABAD (STAFF REPORTER): Local political workers have condemned the demand made by PTI Chief Imran Khan to include ISI and MI officials in the purposed judicial commission to ascertain alleged rigging charges in 2013 general elections.
Commenting on the PTI’s demand, PPP District General Secretary Muhammad Arshad Mehind said that the demand of PTI Chief to include official of Intelligence Agencies in the judicial commission was illegal and unconstitutional. He further said that PTI Chief was totally ignorant of law as judicial commission means comprising of only judges and not personnel of other agencies. Moreover, a democrat cannot make such an absurd and unconstitutional demand.
Meanwhile, District Scouts Officer Muhammad Usman has appreciated the role of the scouts for playing their vital role in peace and emergency.
He was talking to a delegation of scouts led by Principal of Islamia Degree College Gujranwala Masood Naeem. He stressed upon scouts to continue to play their noble role to serve the humanity.
