karachi   - The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board has demolished five illegal hydrants in different areas of the metropolis. A KWSB spokesman said on Thursday that the equipment used in water theft was also impounded. An accused identified as Naveedul islam was also taken into custody. It said that the drive against illegal hydrants was being carried out in accordance with the court’s order and to provide water to the people through water mains.
