LAHORE – Different social and political personalities of the country on Thursday congratulated TheNation Editor-in-Chief Majid Nizami on receiving an honorary doctorate degree from the Punjab University for his lifelong services in the field of journalism.
Showing great appreciation for the services rendered by the veteran journalist, Jamia Naeemia Nazam-e-Aala Allama Raghab Hussain Naeemi said that Nizami’s contribution to the nation was undeniable. Mobashar Iqbal Loun Ustadanwala from Makka in a letter congratulated Majid Nizami on receiving the doctorate degree for his meritorious services. Justice (r) Raja Afrasyab also called on Majid Nizami and congratulated him.
