HAFIZABAD - Federal Minister Ch Liaqat Abbas Bhatti has declared that the PML-Q will become victorious in the forthcoming general elections.
He said that the party v under the leadership of PML-Q District President Ch Mehdi Hassan Bhatti always remained on the beck and call of the people and was committed to raise living standard of the people by the providing all sorts of amenities at their doorsteps.
He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Sui Gas supply in village Bagh Kuhna which had been completed at a cost of Rs120 million. He also assured the inhabitants of other villages that he would ensure Sui Gas supply in their villages as well.
He advised his supporters to launch mass contact campaign for the forthcoming general elections. He disclosed that the PML-Q would field candidates on all the five NA and PA seats and would give crushing defeat to their opponents.
Former Culture Minister Ch Shoukat Ali Bhatti and others also addressed the gathering.
House looted: Three bandits barged into the house of a citizen in broad-daylight and snatched gold ornaments, cash and a bike.
According to police, three dacoits stormed the house of Muhammad Shamoon on Defence Road in the afternoon on Wednesday.
They locked the occupants of the house in a room snatched eight tolas gold ornaments, Rs1,25,000 and a bike.
The police have registered a case.
