RIHANNA is set to cause even more controversy with her latest stunt — marrying Chris Brown.
The Umbrella hitmaker is said have told friends she wants to marry the newly single R&B singer who she recently reunited with after splitting shortly before he was convicted of assaulting her in 2009.
“No one close to them would be a bit shocked if they suddenly eloped,” a source said.
“Rihanna has told her close friends point blank — I would marry Chris.
“She even says she would have never left him if the media scrutiny didn’t get so bad.
“They’re passionate, and they’ve both made many comments about getting married.”
Brown admitted last week in a video that he was in love with the star, it seems they are planning to get super serious, with marriage even discussed.
The ‘Champion’ star broke up with girlfriend Karrueche Tran last week blaming his friendship with Rihanna for affecting their relationship.
Now there is nothing keeping them apart, insiders are said to be concerned they may get carried away and tie the knot.
The former flames originally broke up in 2009 after the ‘Yeah X3’ star brutally assault his then girlfriend. Last year a restraining order keeping him away from the Bajan beauty was reduced, with rumours of the couple rekindling their romance soon after, despite the fact that Chris was in a relationship with Vietnamese model Karrueche Tran.
But is marriage on the cards? Rihanna has admitted herself that their love was “free and wild” when they were together and claims they fell very quickly in love.
