In order, the control the adverse impacts of climate change Pakistan Army has joined the National Tree Plantation Campaign.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement the Chief of Army Staff General Javed Qamar Bajwa will initiate simultaneous plantation of two million trees across the country on Monday.
Director General ISPR Major Major General Asif Ghafoor on the official Twitter account wrote, "Pakistan Army joins National Tree Plantation Campaign. COAS will initiate simultaneous plantation of two million trees today across the country under army arrangements with the planned target of 10 million trees during this monsoon."
The campaign named as 'Sarsabz o Shadab Pakistan," he added.
