LAHORE For the foolproof security for the four-match Pak-China hockey series, a security team has started working on all the arrangements and visited the National Hockey Stadium in this regard on Monday. Superintendent Police Model Town Malik Awais-led team visited the National Hockey Stadium and started work on security plan how to handle public, media and VIPs during the international event going to be concluded here on December 25. The team leader on the occasion said that they would take charge of the stadium one-day before the event starts and then would finalised the fool proof plan for the visiting team. Meanwhile, according to the Pakistan Hockey Federation spokesman, the Chinese hockey team will visit Pakistan from December 19 to 26 and play four-Test match series against Pakistan hockey team. According to schedule, Pakistan will play first match against China on December 21 at HCP Stadium Karachi and the second one on December 22 at the same venue. The third one will be played on December 24 at Faisalabad Hockey Stadium while the last match of the series will be held on December 25 here at National Hockey Stadium. Punjab Chief Minister Mian M Shahbaz Sharif has very kindly consented to be the chief guest on the final match of the series at National Hockey Stadium at 2:30 pm, the spokesman said.
