KCCI rejects KESCs new plan of power loadshedding

KARACHI - Businessmen completely rejected new loadshedding plan which was announced for the industrial zone of Karachi wherein loadshedding from 09:00 am to 1:00 pm and 5pm to 9: pm will take place. This was stated by the representatives of KCCI during a press conference here on Monday. Response to KESC legal notices to businessmen shows unity against the electric supply company. Talking to the media Zubair Motiwala former chairman KCCI said KESC saved its furnace oil which they got only for the power generation. Siraj Qasim Teli Chairman BMG group said that KESC has only one formula and that is run the company and stop the economy, he added. Mian Barar Ahmed said that KESC bypassed agreement which was signed in presence of Dr Asim Federal Minister Petroleum and Governor Ishrat-ul-Abad Khan where its decided that the industrial zone of Karachi would be exempted from the loadshedding. They said that we are thinking different options to take against the KESC.
