Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa Wednesday met tribal elders and youth from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
“Achievements through sacrifices of brave tribals of Fata are being consolidated while we transit from relative stability to enduring peace,” said General Bajwa.

“Pakistan Army fully supports mainstreaming of Fata and shall pursue it in line with aspirations of our tribal brothers,” he added.
The delegation, while appreciating the role of military for peace and stability of the region, discussed mainstreaming of Fata with General Bajwa.
