QUETTA - The Balochistan govt finally accepted the demands of special persons on Tuesday which ended their 36-day protest after assurance that their demands will be fulfilled.

The special persons had set up camp in front of Quetta Press Club since last 36 days and demanded five per cent quota and also called for their share in the endowment funds.

The protest camp ended when Provincial Ministers visited their camp and gave assurance of meeting their demands.

Minister for Home Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, Adviser to CM for Forests Ubaidullah, MPA Nasrullah Khan were among the government negotiators.

The Ministers assured that their quota would be ensured in the govt jobs and if anyone found out occupying position of special persons this would not be tolerated.

The protestors said that they had demanded a package comprising of 100 vacancies for special persons which was sanctioned by the Chief Minister and their other demands had also been accepted.
