PFF League gets underway today

LAHORE - Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) league featuring 13 departmental, nine clubs from provinces and regions will commence today (Tuesday) at seven centres across the country.
The matches of the grand football event will be played at Karachi, Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal and Layyah. In the opening day matches, Pakistan Steel will take on Pakistan Public Works Department (PPWD) at the Steel Town Ground, Bin Qasim, Karachi and Baloch FC Noushki will face Green Star FC, Okara at the Municipal Stadium, Okara.
At the end of the league, one team from departmental leg and one from club leg will be promoted to 10th Pakistan Premier Football League 2013. Similarly, the two teams that finished at the bottom of 9th PPFL 2012 will be relegated from the competition. Top two teams that won the first and second place in the 9th PFFL 2012 will be promoted to 10th PPFL 2013.
