PESHAWAR- International squash player Noor Zaman clinched the trophy after defeating Mehran Javed of PAF in the final of the All Pakistan Shamus Ul Qamar Squash Championship played here at PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex on Friday. Director Sports PAF Group captain Sayed Ahmed was the chief guest on this occasion. Other notables present on the occasion were Qamar Zaman, Group Capt Ifran, Mansoor Zaman, Sher Bahadur, Wazir Mohammad, Adil Faqir, Munawar Zaman, Tahir Iqbal and others. Before the start of the final match, both the finalists were introduced to the guest present on this occasion. Noor played well against Mehran in 3-0 battle as the score was 11-7, 11-5. 11-5 (20 minutes). It was only the first game, where Mehran showed some resistance while rest of the games were dominated by Noor, who did not give much time to Mehran to settle down and recorded a title victory in the prestigious event.
