Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Saturday summoned a high-level meeting on the arrest of Former vice-chancellor (VC) of Punjab University Mujahid Kamran on Monday.

Vice Chancellors of different government universities around the country have expressed their reservations on this incident.

Government universities VC’s have said that Mujahid Kamran is being subjected to media trial, we have informed the chairman of HEC about our concern.

The meeting of HEC will be headed by HEC’s chairman Dr. Tariq Banuri in which strong protest strategy will be discussed in Islamabad.
