islamabad - Chief Commissioner Islamabad has appointed Syed Ali Akbar Shah as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations, informed a police spokesman here on Tuesday. A notification in this regard has also been issued by Additional Commissioner Quratulain Malik on behalf of Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Amir Ali, he added. Dr Syed Mustafa Tanweer, who was serving as SSP Operations Islamabad, proceeded on a three-month departmental promotion course. After his departure, SSP Syed Ali Akbar Shah was given the look after charge. Similarly, SSP Traffic Islamabad Syed Karar Haider also proceeded for a departmental promotion course.
In Rawalpindi, city police chief Muhammad Ahsan Younas has posted Sub Inspector (SI) Jamal Nawaz as Station House Officer Police Station City after the former SHO SI Fakhar-e-Alam went on leave for his further study, according to police spokesman SI Sajjad-ul-Hassan.
