2 missing kids found dead

KARACHI - The bodies of the two missing underage children were found separately from two different parts of the Sohrab Goth locality on Monday.

An eight-year-old Shahbaz, son of Mubarak Ali and a ten-year-old Ahsan, son of Imtiaz were found dead separately from Khadim Solangi Goth within the limits of SITE Superhighway police station and Allah Rakha Goth within the jurisdiction of Sohrab Goth police station.

The police rushed on the spot and shifted the bodies to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsies. Police officials said that both the victims were the residents of Lasi Goth area of Sohrab Goth were playing outside their homes on Sunday afternoon and went missing, explained SITE Superhighway SHO Asmatullah Marwat. The families were trying to search both of them and also approached the police.

Police suspect that both were kidnapped by the same assailants shifted to undisclosed location and later killed them one by one.

“One Shahbaz was killed after his head was hit by a concrete block while Ahsan was strangulated to death,” explained the officer. Police unable to make any headway so far while waiting for the final chemical examination report to probe the killing. Police suspect personal enmity was the reason behind the double murders while no case has been registered till the filing of this report.

Two brothers held in Sabri murder case

Police have arrested two real brothers over their alleged involvement in famous Qawal Amjad Sabri murder case here on Monday.

According to the details, police team carried out a raid in Five Star locality of North Karachi and arrested two real brothers Shani and Mani allegedly involved in Amjad Sabri murder case.

Sources privy to the matter revealed that the accused persons arrested were the residing in the neighbor of Sabri and went into hiding since the Sabri was gunned down on 22 June, while police remains after them when their other accomplices were arrested. Sources said that the accused brothers were closed associate MQM Liaquabad sector Incharge Shahzad Mullah.

Its worth mentioning here that police have so far been arrested at least nine suspects in the murder of Sabri while yet to be disclose their arrest so far. 

Meanwhile, police have also arrested at least 21 suspects including New Karachi UC Chairman Anees Ahmed associated with MQM in various raids and operation carried out in various parts of the metropolis. Police said that the Anees Ahmed arrested by security agencies and shifted unknown location for investigation.
