ISLAMABAD - Former President Asif Ali Zardari has congratulated the nation on the occasion of Independence Day.
“We reiterate our resolve to remain steadfast on the principles of freedom of the homeland, dignity of the nation and empowered parliament. This was the vision of Benazir Bhutto and we will fulfil her mission,” he said in a message.
Zardari said that the people of the country are once again suffering from severe difficulties. The people are facing inflation, unemployment and economic stagnation. In such a situation national unity and consensus is urgently needed
