MURIDKE - Lahore and Karachi women’s team were declared joint winners of the Women U-19 Cricket tournament as match was abandoned due to intermittent rain here on Thursday.
The Pakistan Cricket Board chief Zaka Ashraf was the guest of honour on the occasion and awarded trophy and prizes to the players. Both the teams were awarded Rs 75,000 as joint winners bonus. Player of the tournament Iqra Nawaz got Rs 10,000 while best batter Sana Urooj of Karachi, best bowler Kanwal Francis of Lahore, best wicketkeeper Ayesha Furqan were awarded Rs 10,000 each.
Riffat Mustafa and Afia Amin supervised  the match while Zaigham Barki acted as match referee and Sajjad ul Hassan acted as official scorer.
