KARACHI - Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that the appointment of the Opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly will be done on the basis of rules of procedure of the Assembly.
He was talking to media persons here on Wednesday in the Sindh Assembly cafeteria after inauguration of the party calendar 2013.
Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon and other MPAs were also present on the occasion.
Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said the caretaker setup in Sindh would be formed after the completion of Sindh Assembly tenure, hoping that the interim government and its chief minister will come with consensus of all the political parties.
He said after the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, yearly calendar was issued with the name of Peoples Party. He said, “Sindh Assembly was going to complete its five years tenure first time in the history of Pakistan that’s why I wish congratulation to all political parties who have played their role for the democracy in Pakistan.”
